Ocean Science and Technology is one of four strategic areas of research at NTNU, with sustainable seafood and marine bioresources as one of its focus areas. Through interdisciplinary cooperation, NTNU Oceans stimulates research, education and innovation of sector and societal relevance.
The project “Bridgehead Aquaculture 2050” strengthens the ties between academia and the seafood sector in Central Norway. It is developing a regional knowledge platform for efficient and mutual exchange of theoretical and practical knowledge towards the vision of an enhanced innovation capacity and readiness in the sector.
